Customizable Homepage inDegree allows users to select widgets, RSS feeds and links and place them in designated areas on their homepage to enhance everyday usability.
  Weather Widget: inDegree allows users to add a weather forecast to their homepage. Whenever a user logs on to their homepage, an updated weather forecast will populate based upon their zip code, eliminating the need to find this information elsewhere.
  RSS Feeds: inDegree's RSS feeds are a family of web formats that are used to publish frequently updated news headlines from all industries, blog entries and audio. RSS feeds update automatically and allow the inDegree user to aggregate feeds from many different sites all in a centralized location on their homepage.
  Custom Links: inDegree allows a user to add custom links to their homepage. These links allow the user to quickly navigate in a new window to a webpage of their choice.
News Updates Receive real time updates on your homepage when anyone in your network: connects with someone else, changes something on their profile, posts something new on their whiteboard and creates a new event.
Professional Profile Users have the ability to build a profile with a professional picture, contact information as well as specific education and work history in order to brand themselves to on-looking employers and alumni. Users can customize an entire area of their profile to include an “about me” summary, organizations they are involved with, skills, references, and any other interesting facts they wish to share.
Resume The professional profile is designed to mimic that of a traditional resume. inDegree offers the ability for employers and other users to download a PDF or Word version of your profile page.
Whiteboard Upload blog posts, YouTube videos, links and comments for your connections to view, directly on your profile. This is a great area to share information with your classmates and colleagues.
Advanced Search Search for classmates, alumni, colleagues, universities, colleges, programs and employers. inDegree offers an extensive list of search criteria to help users find exactly what they’re looking for.
Invite Connections Users can invite classmates, fellow alumni and colleagues to join inDegree in order to grow their network of connections.
Networks inDegree offers the ability for users to join networks based upon their city, state, employer and education history. These networks can be managed, searched and sorted all in one centralized location.
Address Book Users can view basic contact information about their connections in one centralized area without searching for each individual profile page.
Job Search inDegree has partnered with Indeed in order to offer jobs specifically relevant to users with graduate degrees. inDegree has filtered out the low content job postings that do not pertain to graduate degree holders. inDegree also offers employers the ability to post jobs directly on the inDegree website.
Career Central inDegree’s job central gives the user full management capability of their job search.  A user can view all current job applications in one centralized location. When a user saves a job after a search, they can view these jobs in this location as well. Users also have the ability to view the date, time and name of specific employers who downloaded a PDF or Word version of their profile page.
